"Barbara & Don, Can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed the 4 hour class this past Saturday. What a dynamic team you two are. Seriously, I was already impressed before by the way you handle the castings I have been on but after Saturday, I am so happy and proud to know the both of you. What a comfortable atmosphere you create. I have avoided going to any of these types of things knowing all along I needed it badly to give me more of an edge. I certainly picked up on some key things to take with me on future casting calls and so I will walk in on future castings with more confidence. After viewing the 3 videos of the different exercises, I discovered that I didn't come off as badly as I have always imagined. Although I was surprised my "acting" wasn't as horrible as I thought, I still could use a lot more classes. Rachel has done quite a bit of theater and felt that she would like to try film. I signed her up with a couple of different talent agencies, but she wasnt being sent out to any auditions. My daughter asked if I could find some classes for her on film and I found Barbara DiPrimas class. I registered her in the class. My daughter has a great time and told me that she learned a lotRachel said, She didnt know there was so much difference between theater and film. But what I liked, was that Ms. DiPrima went further than just giving my daughter a class. She took a true interest in my daughter. She actually called her agents and asked why they werent sending her on auditions. Right after that my daughter started getting sent on calls. She got a call back on her very first audition I highly recommend the workshop classes. If your child is truly interested in acting, this is a wonderful opportunity to work with professionals. |

Barbara & Don, For me the DiPrima workshops have proven to be invaluable not only for acting, but also for vocal performances, voice-overs, modeling, etc. This includes getting the job, keeping the job, and expanding the possibilities for future jobs!
Why do I say this? It is because these interactive on-camera workshops empower students with immediate feedback and encourage continuous improvement through heightened self-awareness, self-motivation, and increased confidence. Although I have the tendency to be a shy perfectionist by nature, whenever I leave one of DiPrima workshops I am always refreshed and more focused with the goal of progressive development and increased comfort whether I am on camera, on stage, recording in the studio, or working with any other medium.
I love the beautiful manner in which you analyze students individually and provide honest constructive criticism tempered with genuine commendations when appropriate! That is an art within itself.
To say that the DiPrima workshops are pleasurable and stimulating is, of course, an understatement. These classes are extremely beneficial for people in general and undoubtedly essential for individuals interested in acting and performing!

| Dear Barbara,
Cassondra had a wonderful time taking your "TV Commercial Workshop" on Saturday. On Sunday she auditioned for the lead in a film and I immediately noticed a difference. Where she normally gets nervous and sometimes moody and quiet before auditioning on film, she was happy and confident, even joking with the other girls in the waiting room. After her audition, the producer came out and asked her if she had all her contact numbers listed and then said "don't change your e-mail before you hear from me", that has never happened before!
